One Drink A Day

I'm down to one drink a day just to keep these thoughts at bay
I know that Im supposed to quit but Im not as strong as this
So maybe I'll settle down cause Im tired of dragging myself around
Or I'll leave you where you stand, pick up my pace, turn my back on this place with a new found reason to go

You know that won't be me, I'm tired of watching TV and all the things that I see they're all telling me I should leave. So maybe I'll settle down, stop dragging these footprints around; or I'll leave you where you stand, pick up my pace, turn my back on this place with a new found reason to go

No she don't want to leave but she can't find a good reason to stay she just don't want to be left alone

I'm down to one drink a day. Well you know that you made me this way. I'm never going to quit because I'm not as strong as this
